Today we are featuring Lindsey from Primrose Cottage Quilts on our Country Roads Fabric Tour. You can find her blog here. Country Roads Fabric is a tribute to John Denver and his beautiful song “Country Roads take me home to the place I belong”… it includes a soft color palette of pale pinks, whites and deep blues. It combines the beautiful elegance of a variety of flowers, words from John Denvers song, stripes and small hexies.
The beautiful shades of pink… from light to medium to dark. Each pink complimenting another.
Here you see all the whites in the collection; they are a beautiful contrast to the deep blues and pinks in this collection.
Lastly there is the deep blue which gives depth and richness to the collection. You can find all the pieces included in this fabric selection here on our website at Poppie Cotton.
Lindsey has outdone herself by making this gorgeous quilt. She has a pdf pattern for this quilt called Cornerstone in her shop. It’s a simple quilt block repeated over and over. The sashing sets each block apart.
What a lovely display this quilt makes… and even more lovely would be the snuggle underneath this beautiful quilt. We love all these talented makers that are so inspired to keep making and creating.
