WOODLAND SONGBIRDS FABRIC TOUR WITH HAPPY LITTLE COTTAGE

WOODLAND SONGBIRDS FABRIC TOUR WITH HAPPY LITTLE COTTAGE

Welcome to our Woodland Songbirds Fabric Tour featuring Debbie from Happy Little Cottage. You can read her blog and see her wonderful writeup about this gorgeous over sized star quilt and fabric here.

This beautiful over sized star is the perfect table topper or even more perfect quilt for a baby. We just love how simple and fast this project is to make. It’s a mixture of squares and half square triangles.

Debbie has made all of this quilt on her domestic machine. She even did some straight grid lines to finish the quilt. Debbie takes the best photos and always showcases Poppie Cotton fabric so well.

We are so in love with the soft colors of Woodland Songbirds. The light peaches, soft mints, teals, grays and blacks with a small hint of green and plenty of white. The fabric collection is designed by Sheri McCulley for Poppie Cotton. These gorgeous fabric designs include beautiful flowers and birds from nature, sweet mushrooms and coordinating geometrics and ferns. You can find all the designs in the Woodland Songbird collection here.

One of our favorite things about this quilt is the scrappy pieced binding. You know our favorite thing is scrappy. We love how Debbie has pieced the pieces together to create this colorful binding to finish this quilt.

Please join us each day to see all the beautiful creations from these amazing designers and makers below.
