Welcome to our Woodland Songbirds Fabric Tour featuring Lisa from Nanny Goat. You can find her gorgeous quilt and patterns here.
We are so in love with the soft colors of Woodland Songbirds. The light peaches, soft mints, teals, grays and blacks with a small hint of green and plenty of white. The fabric collection is designed by Sheri McCulley for Poppie Cotton. These gorgeous fabric designs include beautiful flowers and birds from nature, sweet mushrooms and coordinating geometrics and ferns. You can find all the designs in the Woodland Songbird collection here.
Lisa has created 2 beautiful baby quilts using Woodland Songbirds. The first one is this gorgeous hexie quilt. The colors play so well together and give lovely contrast to each hexie block. The second one is the gorgeous teddy bear quilt.
Both quilts show such diversity and yet use the same fabric collection. That is one of our favorite parts about quilting. Taking one fabric collection and creating different looks and feels. Everyone is able to show their creativity and diversity through quilting.
This teddy bear quilt would be darling for a girl or boy. The softness of the teals and mints and greens blend so well together to make this sweet quilt.
We had to showcase the backs of the quilts. The longarm quilting on these quilts is next to perfection. Lisa’s work is incredible. Notice the details and the design.
If you have ever followed along and watched Lisa, she shares the view from her longarm machine and it is a place of beauty and wonder as you look outside to a gorgeous panorama view of the mountains in Utah.
Lisa from Nanny Goats will be releasing both these quilts as new patterns very soon. Keep a watch on her website to be able to purchase them.
These quilts are cuteness all day long and are begging to wrap up a sweet babe to cuddle and keep warm.
Please join us each day to see all the beautiful creations from these amazing designers and makers below.
