House and Home Fabric Tour with Verity Vintage Studio

Our first day for the House and Home Fabric Tour is Kristen of Verity Vintage Studio. She has made the loveliest star quilt! You can find everything about Kristen and her darling project here.

House and Home calms the soul with its sweet pale pinks and peaches, soft mints, whites, sky blues and charcoal color mixes. The floral designs are hand sketched and depict botanical bouquets and gardens of delightful flowers. The collection gets its name from the main print which has drawings of houses and homes, butterflies, strawberries, bowls of picked wild flowers, garden hat, vegetables and vases of flowers ready to be put on the kitchen table. There are so many delightful images that leave you wanting to stay home and get cozy.

Kristen used Gigi’s Thimble free pattern for her 2 Stars a Day quilt. She made a smaller version with 2 stars in each fabric for a total of 20 stars, divided with 10 on each background color. You can read all about it on her blog. The hand stitching on this quilt is our favorite!!
