We had so much fun celebrating the Christmas season with you all through our Christmas Countdown! To savor the happiness, we want to make sure you have a place to reference each project and keep them for your "to-make" list.
Our very first project was made by Dori Troutman from The Red Feedsack. These adorable coasters were the perfect way to kick off the season!
Day 2 of our Christmas Countdown includes these amazing scrappy ornaments by Lauren Wright from Molly and Mama. These ornaments are so easy and quick to make, and they can be personalized for any occasion!
For day 3 Belinda Karls-Nace of Blue Ribbon Designs created the most adorable ginger bread house pin cushion! This pin cushion is the cosmic cottage pattern, which you can find here for free! Belinda adjusted the pattern to be square and added trims to complete the sweet look. We especially love the little pocket for your favorite pair of scissors!
On Day 4 of the Christmas Countdown, we continued the gingerbread theme with Sara Tison from Sara B Quilts. There isn't a single part of this project that we aren't completely in love with! From the "shingled" roof to the reindeer in the doorway, this Cosy Cottage organizer has us head over heels.
Day 5 of our Christmas Countdown was possible because of Charise Randell from Charise Creates. She created this adorable Tiny Cottage Christmas ornament – how cute! You can find the pattern for this ornament in her online shop.
On day 6, Amanda Whisman from Be Mandy Things created these beautiful and practical gift baskets! You can find the pattern here to make your own. Stuff them with goodies and skip the wrapping hassle for a gorgeous and easily assembled gift.
Day 7 brought the stuff-able mittens you see here. These are the adorable Magical Mitten Stockings by Belinda Karls-Nace. You can find the pattern for free on the Blue Ribbon Designs blog here! Belinda made hers with our Oh What Fun Collection by Elea Lutz and our Jailhouse stripes fabrics.
Day 8 of our Christmas Countdown was brought to us by Karen Pratt of Cream Craft Goods. This beautiful Christmas journal was drafted by Karen and hand appliquéd. The quilted body and mini yoyo ornaments add such a lovely touch. This journal cover is perfect for the winter season.
On day 9 Jeana Culbert from Sugar Bee Quilts brought us this fabulous Petal Pop Christmas Tree Pillow! The step by step blog for this 18" pillow is available here. The interactive element of the tree petals is absolute perfection!
For day 10 Kristyne Czepuryk from Pretty By Hand brought us this clasp purse. This one is also made with our Oh What Fun Collection by Elea Lutz. You can find hardware kits to make your own with Zakka Workshop!
Day 11 of the 2024 Poppie Cotton Christmas Countdown featured these fun gift bags by Ali Phillips of Arabesque Scissors. These bright and fun sachets are easy to make and offer a beautiful and sustainable gifting option. We love these for gifting or storing small trinkets!
Day 12 of the Countdown was as sweet as ever with these Fabric Candy ornaments from Ellie Gau! Ellie used our Oh What Fun collection, Jailhouse Stripes, Country Confetti, and others. These adorable ornaments are easy and fun to make in your favorite Poppie Cotton fabrics and they look delicious year round! You can find Ellie Bug Makes tutorial post here.
On day 13 of our countdown we had these delightful stockings created for us by The Honeybee Homemaker, Alexis Ellis. Alexis found a pattern for these stockings, by Sunny Day Supply, hidden deep in her sewing room. Don't you love finding those hidden treasures! She used several of our collections to create these gorgeous stockings, complete with holly buttons and bells. These stockings bring all of the romantic Christmas feelings we were in need of!
Day 14, our final day of the 2024 Poppie Cotton Christmas Countdown, was with Dori Troutman of The Red Feedsack. This simple project is a fabric "Christmas Cracker". While they don't have the traditional "snap" sound, they look simply lovely on Dori's table spread and they are stuffed with all sorts of treats and goodies! We couldn't have dreamed up a better way to conclude our Christmas Countdown.
We'd like to extend a huge thank you to each and every one of our creators that celebrated Christmas with us this year! We couldn't have imagined a better way to celebrate than to enjoy each of these holiday projects.
We hope you had just as much fun during our 2024 Christmas Countdown as we did. Be sure to tag us when you make your own projects; we can't wait to see them! Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
