The Smitten Chicken Fabric Tour & Projects You May Have Missed

The Smitten Chicken collection is a cheerful and charming collection, designed by Lori Woods. It's flirtatious florals and sassy hens make appearances in teals, reds, and pretty pinks. This collection is ideal for kitchen accessories like tea towels, aprons, or tablecloths. As always, though, Poppie Cotton fabrics are best used for whatever your heart leads you to.
We have ten talented ambassadors who have thoughtfully created projects with this collection. Our first round of Smitten Chicken projects begins with Kristyne from Pretty By Hand. Kristyne created this beautiful butterfly quilt.

This quilt follows no pattern. Kristyne was inspired by some butterfly blocks she saw online and created her own version, which she pieced together with these lovely sashes and framed with Smitten Chicken patchwork!

Dori from The Red Feedsack is our next ambassador today. She created a stunning tool to aid herself and her mother in a challenge they've created for themselves. The challenge is simple: write one encouraging letter each day. So, to make that challenge a stitch more fun, Dori created these letter writing kits.

These letter writing kits are made using this blog post by Jenny of Elfantz for the Writer's Compendium. These notebooks are more than just beautiful covers. Let's take a peek inside! The Writer's Compendium is full of pockets, which are perfect or storing pens, note cards, envelopes, and any letter-writing trinkets! There are so many details to adore in these notebooks, like the pretty trims and the hand stitched labels. An especially lovely piece is the cute little button envelope to keep small stamps safe and secure.

Our final ambassador for this round of Smitten Chicken projects is Amanda Whisman. Amanda is the go-to expert for all things bag making. You can find her on Instagram as Be Mandy Things. She's sewn two bags using the Smitten Chicken collection: the Gifted Stitches basket and Grapeful tote. You can read her blog about these projects here! These baskets are perfect to use for summer gifts and displays.

We love sharing the talents of our ambassadors, and we're excited to bring you more of their projects from the Smitten Chicken fabric tour!
