The Smitten Chicken collection is a cheerful and charming collection, designed by Lori Woods. It's flirtatious florals and sassy hens make appearances in teals, reds, and pretty pinks. This collection is ideal for kitchen accessories like tea towels, aprons, or tablecloths. As always, though, Poppie Cotton fabrics are best used for whatever your heart leads you to.
We have ten talented ambassadors who have thoughtfully created projects with this collection. We've already had the pleasure of sharing three of them. Today we're admiring a few more!
We're starting this party with projects sewn with love by Ellie Bug Makes. Ellie made two projects with the Smitten Chicken collection. An adorable, ruffled zip pouch and the most spring-time project ever–a tulip bouquet!
These Tulips are one of Ellie's patterns and the cutest ruffle pouch is a pattern from Sun The GA Embroidery Designs. We are head over heels for this pouch–especially the cutest heart stitching by the zipper!
Our next ambassador is Belinda from Blue Ribbon Designs. Belinda created a beautiful assortment of projects with the Smitten Chicken line and we're going to soak in the details of each and every one.
The first project is a staple from Belinda. The extravagant pin cushion is a signature piece of her style and craftsmanship. The intricate felt work and detailed trims make it obvious that this is a Blue Ribbon Designs cushion. We're simply obsessed, as usual, with her creativity and the detail that she packs into her gorgeous pin cushions.
Belinda's second project is the Chicken Charm zippered pouch. The felt dresden plate is our favorite part, with the cutest fussy cut center, and the green that grounds the rest of the color palette.
Next from Belinda is the Pretty Patchwork pinboard. This is the most beautiful way to keep and display little trinkets and pieces of memorabilia. It's diamond patchwork design and rick rack is too cute.
All good things must come to an end, but we're leaving you with a very sweet surprise fourth project from Blue Ribbon Designs!
These are Belinda's Posh Petal Pillows. She made two fabulous envelope back pillow covers with gorgeous dresden plates. Each one is bordered with a line of rick rack, and we think that makes it pop in just the right way! We love the button centers and the felt flowers that give the entire design the best organic floral feeling.
