What You Missed From The Not Scary Fabric Tour

The Not Scary fabric collection is a playful, vibrant halloween collection designed by Jill & Rani. This collection is completely centered around the joy and fun that can fill the "spooky season". These fabrics are perfect for cheerful halloween projects, trick or treat bags, decorations, and any other spooky-cute thing you can imagine.
Let's see what our Poppie Cotton ambassadors dreamt up with this collection!

Our first ambassador for the Not Scary collection is Belinda. She created three spook-tacular creations that show off these prints: a collection of zip pouches, an adorable bunting, and a mini quilt!

These boxy zip pouches are just fantastic. The bright colors are perfectly paired with a colorful zipper that accents each print. They are fully lined with Country Confetti, and have HeatnBond VersaFoam to give them the structure they need. There's no pattern for these cute pouches – just the joy of some unstructured play in Belinda's sewing room.

The next project from Belinda at Blue Ribbon Designs is this absolutely adorable ghosty bunting. The wool felt ghosts and letters are machine appliquéd on. This is a must-have for any halloween party!

Belinda's final Not Scary project is the Halloween Star Quilt. You can find her pattern for this fabulous project here! It's so cute in the bright colors of the Not Scary collection, and it can be used as wall or table décor.

Our next creator, Kristyne, made a beautiful quilt with traditional Carpenter's Wheel blocks and sashing. Take a moment to prepare yourself for these stunning close-ups!

Can you say fabulous? These nine blocks are so fun and add a playful pop to the neutral background. We love how Kristyne chose a Country Confetti color for each Not Scary print to be perfectly paired with! You can find Kristyne on socials as Pretty By Hand.

We have three more projects from Ellie at Ellie Bug Makes. She's brought a beautiful burst of creativity with these projects. There's no official mascot for the halloween season, but a black cat is essential for the spooky holiday! Ellie used a pattern by Olive Arti to create her cute (not scary) black cat.

This trio of haunted house cottage pouches was completed on Ellie's embroidery machine using a download from Stickzeit. They couldn't be any cuter!

And of course, every trick or treater needs a bag for their candy. Ellie took the Playhouse Purse pattern from Moira Sew Lab and turned it into the the Haunted House bucket! This is the perfect halloween accessory. We're obsessed with all the sweet fussy cut characters! What's your favorite detail?

We're just getting started with our Not Scary fabric tour recap, so come back again for more scary-cute projects from our ambassadors! Until then, happy sewing!
