Hello everyone! We are so glad you’ve stopped by on our Delightful Department Store Fabric Tour! All month long we are celebrating the release of our newest fabric line with projects from our makers and a giveaway. Today we have Dori Troutman from The Red Feedsack who has made the sweetest projects.
Dori made a patchwork hot water bottle cover with sweet hand stitching and embroidery on it. This is so perfect for aches and keeping warm on a cold night. You can read more about it at The Red Feedsack.
The prints in Delightful Department Store are the perfect scale for fussy cutting and patchwork piecing for small projects and quilt blocks.
We just love the boxy pouch that Dori made using fabric strips as well as some featured ladies and a perfect gingham zipper binding. It’s all in the details!
Delightful Department Store: 1950’S ladies all dressed up for the day and ready to head out on the town. This is going to be a glorious day of shopping, looking at pretty things and having lunch with the girlfriends. There is nothing better than spending a day filled with laughter and good cheer. This beautiful collection has mixed yellows, mints, teals and all shades of pinks to create a colorful color palette. The fabric collection includes 1950’s dresses on lovely ladies, roses, ginghams, tiny tossed roses, receipts for the shopping day and all over flower dots.
