We are so excited to share Dots and Posies fabric collection available in stores January 2021! This collection brags of Prize Roses from Grandpas garden. It is mixed with large polka dots and small dots among lots of vintage flowers, Blue Birds and a beautiful all over hexie print. The color palette is soft pinks, reds, mints, blues, creams and white. You can see all the fabric here.
Anna from My Wandering Path is sharing her first quilt pattern called Button Box… We love how she describes Dots and Posie’s “When I saw the designs in this collection, I felt like they had the kind of vintage, shabby-chic vibes that you’d get rummaging through a beloved grandmother’s box of sewing trims and notions…and just like that, the design for Button Box was born!” You can read all about her new pattern and see how to purchase here.
These beautiful quilt blocks look just like buttons in grandmothers button box… Anna has done an amazing job of placing the fabrics from Dots and Posies and the Country Confetti colors so the combination looks so good together… so playful and sweet!
You can see all the amazing designs included in the Dots and Posies fabric collection… large polka dots, sweet bows, over sized prize roses and of course the sweet tiny dots in Country Confetti.
Anna has placed a soft, lush minky on the back for this quilt… makes you want to snuggle all day under this quilt. We love the big piecing for the block in Button Box… super simple and super quick. This would be a great beginner quilt pattern.
The multi stripe for the binding is a perfect finish… and placed on the diagonal is the icing on the cake!
We hope you are inspired as much as we are to go and sit behind your sewing machine and whip up some beautiful creations for yourself or a friend.
Be sure to stop by and see all the amazing projects these designers have created!
