Hi friends! Today is the last day of our Garden Party fabric tour and we have just loved celebrating Sheri McCulley’s newest line with you all! The projects have been wonderful! Today we have Lisa of Nanny Goat Quilts with a new quilt!
This quilt is called Garden Path. It’s a simple one square block pattern that gives the illusion of a wandering path. Lisa says her vision was flowers along a garden path. You might think it is flying geese, but it isn’t. Garden Party is the sweetest collection of designs with watering cans, gardening hat and tools, strawberries, birdhouses, a trellis of flowers and multiple colorways of flowers. The color palette has soft pinks, pale blues, creamy yellows, a touch of orange and raspberry with a few navy blues. The scale is small and easy to work with for quilting, home décor and clothing. If you were to ever have a secret garden these are the designs that would speak to you.
The contrast of soft colors from Garden Party with the gray fabric is striking and the feathers of quilting are beautiful! Be sure to head over to see more from Lisa and check out the other makers from this months tour.
