Garden Party Fabric Tour with Blue Ribbon Designs

Hi friends! We are kicking off another week with our sweet Garden Party fabric tour to celebrate the release of our newest fabric line by Sheri McCulley. Today we have Belinda from Blue Ribbon Designs who created this adorable wall hanging inspired by one of Sheri’s prints! Belinda says “The center applique is my personal take on one of Sheri’s motif designs in the fabric collection. Applique and traditional piecing, I am calling my wall hanging “Bunny Bouquet.” It measures 30” x 30”.”

Belinda has a tradition of making pin cushions out of each fabric line which is a great way to jump into new fabric and get your creativity flowing. This boxy pin cushion and zipper pouch can be found on her blog as well, along with a pattern to make your own patchwork bag.

Garden Party is the sweetest collection of designs with watering cans, gardening hat and tools, strawberries, birdhouses, a trellis of flowers and multiple colorways of flowers. The color palette has soft pinks, pale blues, creamy yellows, a touch of orange and raspberry with a few navy blues. The scale is small and easy to work with for quilting, home décor and clothing.
