House and Home calms the soul with its sweet pale pinks and peaches, soft mints, whites, sky blues and charcoal color mixes. The floral designs are hand sketched and depict botanical bouquets and gardens of delightful flowers. The collection gets its name from the main print which has drawings of houses and homes, butterflies, strawberries, bowls of picked wild flowers, garden hat, vegetables and vases of flowers ready to be put on the kitchen table. There are so many delightful images that leave you wanting to stay home and get cozy.
This beautiful quilt is called Dresden House Twist and is designed by Lisa especially for Poppie Cotton… and it is fabulous!
We love house blocks and this house block combined with the Dresden is so lovely!
Lisa has such a great eye for color and design. House and Home could not be a more perfect color combination. The subtle contrast of the colors with the background fabric is stunning!
Notice the double flange border… it is striking! The quilting is the icing on the cake and brings this quilt to life. The beautiful feathers and ruler work stop you in your tracks. This quilt is so eye catching and brings so much happiness and joy to the soul.
