Kitty Loves Candy Fabric Tour with Blue Ribbon Designs

Kitty Loves Candy Fabric Tour with Blue Ribbon Designs

The first day of our Kitty Loves Candy Fabric Tour with Belinda from Blue Ribbons Designs. She has made the most darling projects… a witches pincushion, a medium and large tote plus a zippered pouch. Her patterns are always whimsical and creative. You can find all of Belinda’s patterns available here.

There is no pattern for the Pincushion… this 6” square pincushion was created playing around Belinds’s studio – it is an original design. It is all machine appliqué. The whiskers and mouth were machine stitched – the flowers on the hat were fussy cut from Pretty Pumpkins Black and machine stitched in place with raw edge appliqué. The Rick Rack is ¾”.

Zippered Pouch – Pattern is called Pretty Posies Pouch… we love all the darling pieced squares… it makes this pouch so whimsical and fun!

Medium Tote – Pattern is called  Mini-Medi Tote. All three patterns are available in the Blue Ribbon Design Shop (paper or digital).

Large Tote – Pattern is called Forty-Five Tote… both totes are simple and easy to piece. They are perfect for trick or treating!

Candy is the witch in this sweet ode to Halloween called Kitty Loves Candy. Look closely to see all the fun details. A haunted barn with mother chick and her piglets following behind. Of course, Kitty is part of this scene along with pumpkins and flowers. There is the most wonderful gingham in pink, black and orange. Kitty has her own design with a witch hat so she can feel a part of the Halloween nights events. There are pumpkin patch designs, multi colored tiny tossed stars and an all over flower print. A large dot with Halloween scenes ties all the designs together. There is also a bonus panel piece with Candy, Kitty and pumpkins that can be sewn into stuffies and the most darling Trick or Treat bunting. This will be a super easy project for the beginner sewist.

Please join us often to check what amazing projects our design team are making… they are inspiring and will make you want to buy pretty fabric to sew pretty things!
