Hi friends! As kids are heading back to school and we are all settling into routines, we wanted to share this adorable Library Tote from one of our makers Dori Troutman. Dori’s daughter-in-law asked her to make a bag for her weekly trip to the library with her small daughter. Leave it to Dori to go above and beyond and also spin her project into a beautiful tutorial for Thermoweb.
Dori used some of our Farmhouse Favorites fabrics to make the tote and then added fussy cut selvedge bits to make book spines. We just love how this turned out! What a cute way to use up scraps and remember favorite fabric lines. What selvedge bits would you use?
For more wonderful inspiration be sure to follow Dori at The Red Feedsack, and you can find her wonderful tutorial HERE. We always love to see what you make with our fabrics, so keep sharing and tagging us in your posts and stay tuned this week for more fun!
