Dori Troutman from The Red Feedsack
From Dori Troutman, "My husband and I have a 100 acre cattle farm in the rolling hills of Tennessee. I cannot remember a time in my life that I did not sew in some capacity! In my memories it seems like I grew up with a needle and thread in my hands! I love every bit of sewing; but I honestly think that hand quilting is my favorite... it always makes me happy. My interests outside of sewing are vast. My daughter (and her girls) and I are flower farmers, selling our bouquets at our roadside honor system stand. I'm passionate about keeping fit; attending fitness classes and running are a part of my daily routine. I've had the privilege of being a Maker for Poppie Cotton since 2019. I've loved every single collection and my favorites change all the time. But right now my favorite is the Prairie Sisters Homestead collection!

Lisa Jo Girodat of Neverland Stitches
(Lisa Jo gifting quilts to friends)
From Lisa Jo, "My favorite “fairy tale” is Peter Pan and thus the name Neverlandstitches. I learned to sew when I was about 5 or 6 years old from my maternal grandmother, who taught fashion sewing at a university in the Metro Detroit area. My first sewing projects were primarily dresses for my Barbie and Dawn dolls. I began apparel sewing and when I was 13 years old. I quickly learned to design my own patterns from my grandmother. I made most clothes when I was in Junior high and high school. My favorite piece was a maxi denim coat. I began quilting when I was twenty years old. I was self-taught as I purchased a couple of books and magazines from a local fabric shop and took off. My favorite projects to make are patchwork quilts. I love the entire process of creating a quilt from designing to quilting. My family members have all been gifted quilts and my grandchildren each have multiple quilts. I have also made and gifted numerous chemo quilts to friends and extended family members. I began creating quilts using Poppie Cotton in the summer of 2021. My favorite Poppie Cotton Collection is House and Home. I gifted the quilt I made with this collection and truly wish I had kept it (LOL).
