Hi friends! Welcome back to our Moonbeam Dreams fabric tour where we are showing off projects from some of our makers all month long. Today we have Belinda from Blue Ribbon Designs who has made her own sewing machine cover/mat.
Belinda says "This project is my own pattern, I am in the process of writing one – it is my original design/work. I am calling it “Flutter and Flower” - it is a Sewing Machine Dust Cover & Sewing Machine Mat (2-in-1). It consists of two paper foundation pieced blocks and traditional piecing. It fits machines up to 18” wide and can easily be adjusted."
We love both looks of this project, the fabrics Belinda used, the paper piecing that works so beautifully with this fabric and the details to finish it off. Head over to Blue Ribbon Designs to see more details.
Moonbeam Dreams is designed by Amanda Grace Designs and includes large lunar moths scattered among flowers, such as morning glory and various flowers found in your garden. There are fireflies, all over stars, the stages of the moon which look like polka dots and designs that appeal to the modern quilter. This collection is aesthetically pleasing using a color palette that combines coral pinks, shades of light to dark blues, soft greens and buttery yellows.
Come back next week for more inspiration from more of our makers!
