My Darling Deer Fabric Tour with Blue Ribbon Designs

My Darling Deer Fabric Tour with Blue Ribbon Designs

Welcome to today’s stop on the My Darling Deer fabric tour with Blue Ribbon Designs! This collection is designed by Michal Marko and takes inspiration from all things in nature. The deer, birds, and tossed flowers are straight from your favorite storybook.

Belinda's first project is this beautiful mini quilt, Patchwork in the Heart, which can be used as a table topper or wall hanging at 24.5 inches by 24.5 inches. This pattern is available in Blue Ribbon Design's online shop in a paper or digital format. We love that Belinda chose to fussy cut some of the sweet deer from the Darling colorways.

The tone-on-tone ferns in soft blues and lavenders deepening into plum and navy prints will carry you from quilts to nursery projects and home décor.

The large patchwork bag was made with love and without an existing pattern. Belinda chose to highlight the Darling print in Plum and accent it with a lovely line of hand dyed rick rack to match. The smaller prints from this collection come together to make a lovely patchwork for the bottom part of this project bag.

Belinda's final projects are these two snappy pouches. Instead of zippers, these pouches have pull tabs and snap bracelets for closures. Pull the tabs to open and let go for the bag to snap shut! We love the whimsy and creativity in this trendy and functional design choice.

We invite you back on Monday for the next edition of our My Darling Deer fabric tour with Maggie. Come along for more inspiration and delightful projects in our latest collection by Michal Marko. Until then, happy sewing!
