Welcome back to the Oh What Fun fabric tour! We are having so much FUN seeing all the wonderfully inspiring and creative projects from our team of makers! Today we have Dori from The Red Feedsack who has made an adorable Courthouse Steps mini quilt using bits and pieces from our panel and even scraps from the salvage.
This mini shows off the colors and how they balance each other out so well. Dori does classic with a bit of modern thrown in so well. That fussy cut snowman center and the added big black stitches are the icing on top of this adorable fabric line!
If you haven’t noticed already, our salvages on each of our lines are an added touch of fun and can be used in sewing like Dori has done here. The Santa heads all in a row are too cute and using the plaid print as bias binding is just wonderful!
This is a mini quilt that packs a big punch with all the added details and the back is no exception! Dori added a patch from our panel and used one of her favorite prints to give it a little boarder. Those black stitches all in rows are what quilty dreams are made of.
And to finish up with no scraps left behind, Dori made these adorable little gift tags. To learn more about both projects head over to The Red Feedsack.
Oh What Fun has a vintage vibe that makes us all nostalgic as we reminisce the past with these sweet designs of Santa, skating reindeers, presents, warm winter gloves, socks and hat, Christmas trees, snowmen and gingerbread men. You can smell the kitchen cooking with aromas from your childhood. The designs are tossed and tiny and easy to work with. There is darling plaid in red, cream and pink. Of course, there is a mini flower print and tiny multi colored scattered dots on red, green and pink background colors. There is a panel that offers a wonderful sewing project for anyone wanting to make Christmas tree ornaments and a bunting which says Merry Christmas!
Be sure to follow along with our tour of makers and stay tuned for a fun post and a giveaway later this week to celebrate Elea Lutz‘ newest fabric line.
