Prairie Sisters Homestead Fabric Tour with Belinda of Blue Ribbon Designs

Prairie Sisters Homestead Fabric Tour with Belinda of Blue Ribbon Designs

Welcome back to our Prairie Sisters Homestead fabric tour where we are celebrating the release of our newest line from Lori Woods! We are sharing work from some of our makers throughout the month and today we have Belinda from Blue Ribbon Designs. Belinda has made several sweet projects in varying sizes starting with this bowl full of delicious strawberry pin cushions. We love how the smaller scale fabrics work so sweetly as strawberries!

Belinda also made three zippered bags. For the large patchwork project bag, she added ¼” buttons in each patchwork seam intersection – for the medium project bag she added ¾” rick rack – for the small tool bag, she used a focal fabric. What a great set of matching project bags!

Belinda also made this beautiful wall hanging called “Farmstead Finds.” It measures 42” x 42”. The four blocks are her own cross stitch designs converted to quilt blocks (Belinda has professionally designed cross stitch for 20 years and has recently been converting a few of her designs to quilt patterns/blocks). She also used a couple Farmhouse Favorites fabrics in this quilt as well. We just love the cross stitch feel of these blocks! To learn more head over to Belinda’s blog Blue Ribbon Designs.

Belinda ended up adding some of our zipper pulls to her project bags and we think this is just the cutest touch and the icing on top of all her beautiful projects! Prairie Sisters Homestead is a throwback to our very first collection called Prairie Sisters. It’s a classic farm style with fancy chickens, florals, strawberries and ginghams. It’s the perfect collection for all your countryside needs.

Thank you for stopping by on our fabric tour! Please check out our makers and see more from them on their blogs. We will see you right back here next week!
