Hi friends! Welcome to our last week of the Prairie Sisters Homestead fabric tour where we are wrapping up showcasing what each of our wonderful makers have sewn up with Lori Woods newest fabric line. Today we have Kristen Clay of Verity Vintage Studio with some perfect ideas for brightening up your kitchen.
Kristen used each of the color ways in Prairie Sisters Homestead to make scrappy pot holders and we love the chickens on the backs! Kristen said ” The potholders were just a fun way to play with a bunch of the prints and still end up with a super quick make both cute and useful, to brighten my kitchen!”.
The pink apron was made as an idea that would work with 2.5” precut strips, inspired by a 1940s pattern Kristen saw once. The yellow one was a fun way to use almost a whole color way and enjoy your favorite prints in a larger format. We think this apron is absolutely the sweetest!
Kristen always inspires us with her work and you can find more inspiration over at Verity Vintage Studio. Prairie Sisters Homestead is a throwback to our very first collection called Prairie Sisters. It’s a classic farm style with fancy chickens, florals, strawberries and ginghams. It’s the perfect collection for all your countryside needs.
We can’t wait to see more Prairie Sisters Homestead makes and we are so excited to see it arriving in shops and folks starting to sew with it! Stay tuned for more fun to come!
