Welcome to the Granny’s Sewing Room Fabric Tour with Be Mandy Things

Today on our tour, we have Amanda from Be Mandy Things.

This sentimental make is the Marg Tote bag. It's designed in honor of, and named after, Amanda's grandmother Margaret.

Margaret taught Amanda how to crochet and encouraged her on her sewing and crafting journey. We love how Amanda has honored Margaret by creating a pattern that reflects her personality and character. Amanda says that her Margaret "filled every room she entered with warmth and purpose". We love how Amanda describes the Marg Tote and her grandmother: "a sturdy, structured carryall with practical pockets, a generous base, and thoughtful construction—just like her."

Granny’s sewing room, designed by Sheri McCulley, is a lovely vintage, sewing-themed collection. Romantic prints with tiny blossoms and sweet bluebirds, buttons, and notions. This collection is perfect for sewing room accessories, aprons, pillows, and quilts. This color palette reflects the vintage aesthetic with teals, pinks, and yellows. Inspiration is endless with these gorgeous fabrics!
