Welcome to our Woodland Songbirds Fabric Tour featuring Amy from Ameroonie Designs. You can read her blog and see her wonderful writeup about this gorgeous quilt and fabric here.
We are so in love with the soft colors of Woodland Songbirds. The light peaches, soft mints, teals, grays and blacks with a small hint of green and plenty of white. The fabric collection is designed by Sheri McCulley for Poppie Cotton. These gorgeous fabric designs include beautiful flowers and birds from nature, sweet mushrooms and coordinating geometrics and ferns. You can find all the designs in the Woodland Songbird collection here.
Be prepared for cuteness overload as you scroll through these amazing pictures of this doll bedding set Amy has designed. All the cute details are so perfect. Amy has added the mushroom detail to all the bits and pieces in this doll bedding set.
The stitching on the pincushion is so sweet. The wool mushrooms and flowers are embellished with embroidered flowers and leaves and dots. The sweetness of the wool colors mixed with the fabric is so precious.
All the sweet prints and designs from Woodland Songbirds work so well together. The row of mushrooms and flowers along the middle of the quilt create a beautiful border, where your eye stops to look at the cute tiny details. Amy has used her machine with a gray thread to give the fabric mushrooms the detail of a mushroom growing in the wilderness. They look hand drawn. We love every little detail.
Please join us each day to see all the beautiful creations from these amazing designers and makers below.
