Woodland Songbirds Fabric Tour With My Wandering Path

Woodland Songbirds Fabric Tour With My Wandering Path

Welcome to our Woodland Songbirds Fabric Tour featuring Anna from My Wandering Path. You can read her blog and see her wonderful writeup about this gorgeous quilt and fabric here.

We are so in love with the soft colors of Woodland Songbirds. The light peaches, soft mints, teals, grays and blacks with a small hint of green and plenty of white. The fabric collection is designed by Sheri McCulley for Poppie Cotton. These gorgeous fabric designs include beautiful flowers and birds from nature, sweet mushrooms and coordinating geometrics and ferns. You can find all the designs in the Woodland Songbird collection here.

Anna chose the nine-block version of Star Struck and selected nine prints for the stars. The soft, pale aqua and peach prints combined with the darker corals and grays give this quilt a very dainty, even low volume look. We love this quilt so much!

The border on this quilt is just the perfect finish. Anna used the teals in different shades.  All those little triangles were worth cutting and joining to make this sawtooth border. The posts are the green fern print in the Woodland Songbirds collection.

Please join us each day to see all the beautiful creations from these amazing designers and makers below.
