Today on our Prairie Christmas Fabric Tour we have Kristen Clay from Verity Vintage Studio. Kristen has made so many lovely kitchen goodies and is sharing them all here with us today!
Kristen made several potholders, pillow covers, and no-sew ornaments using the Prairie Christmas fabric collection!
You can find the full collection of Prairie Christmas here. This lovely Christmas collection was designed by Amanda Grace designs.
Kristen made these gorgeous potholders sans pattern, like a master of her trade. For these adorable ornaments she followed a YouTube tutorial by Erica Arndt. If you try them... be sure to share and tag us @poppiecottonfabric. We can't wait to see your handiwork!
Prairie Christmas is a Christmas collection designed by Amanda Corcoran. The color palette is a combination of greens, teals, reds, pinks and cream. The main print is a farm village with charming houses and churches decked out with wreaths and holiday decor. There are scenes of people ice skating, a red tractor and a red barn with lots of farm animals. There is a print with pine boughs, pine cones, Christmas trees, holiday ornaments, snowflakes and stars. There is a vintage vibe and farm charm magic when all these prints, designs and colors come together to create quilts, pillows and lovely holiday décor.
These pillow shams were made following the Sew Mariana Flower Love pattern. Kristen added an envelope backing and big stitch binding to finish them. We think these additions are perfect as season décor.
We hope you are loving all the wonderful creations our makers have designed for you! They are so inspiring and make you want head to your favorite quilt shop and buy this collection and spend some sewing time with just you and your machine!
