Prairie Sisters Homestead Fabric Tour with Dori Troutman

Prairie Sisters Homestead Fabric Tour with Dori Troutman

Hi friends! Welcome to the Prairie Sisters Homestead fabric tour! We are so excited to be sharing this new line from Lori Woods. Today we are kicking things off with Dori Troutman of The Red Feedsack and she has made two beautiful projects, first let’s look at the Dresden table topper she made.

Dori used each of the fabrics in our Prairie Sisters Homestead to make the Dresden center and used the sweet gingham prints for the points. We love how this brightens up her kitchen table and the sweet hand quilting she added.

Prairie Sisters Homestead is a throwback to our very first collection called Prairie Sisters. It’s a classic farm style with fancy chickens, florals, strawberries and ginghams. It’s the perfect collection for all your countryside needs.

Dori also made a patchwork mat for her coffee station and coated it with a liquid vinyl for easy clean up. What a great idea! You can read more about that over on Dori’s blog The Red Feedsack.

We love seeing how our salvage can be added to projects for an extra touch of fun, we design them with the hope they will be used and loved. Dori’s coffee station makes us want to pour a cup and have a chat around her table while we work on hand sewing.

Prairie Sisters Homestead is shipping to stores this month and we can’t wait to see what you all make with it. Follow along with us as we showcase our makers this month.
