Today is the Treasured Threads Fabric Tour with Melissa from Happy Quilting. She has made this very simple but stunning quilt called Petal Patch. It’s a free tutorial on her website. She explains how she makes this quilt. There are lots of tips and tricks for easy assembly. You can find Melissa here.
Treasured Threads fabric collection shares a story about the love of thread… the love of crochet, needlework, embroidery and sewing come together to inspire and bring joy to our soul. The color combinations of vibrant red, deep orange, soft pink, rich teal, sweet blue, dark and light yellow, cream and white highlight each design. It brags a modern, retro vibe. The sparrow is the mascot and soars amidst the flowers and geometric prints which include doilies, crochet and colorful grids.
You can find all the delicious prints available in Treasured Threads here.
We love how she uses 5″ squares on the background. The simple applique for the petals is perfect. You can see how Melissa uses the darks and lights in her fabric choices.
The bright colors from Treasured Threads contrast beautifully with the Country Confetti weathered wood. The dark color grounds all the brights nicely.
We hope you will stop by each day to check and see all the amazing and beautiful projects our makers have designed using Treasured Threads fabric collection.
